To encourage you, ... here are some truths that the bible tells us on the subject of "fear".

* "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."  ~ Psalm 23:4

* "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear."  ~ Psalm 46:1-2

* "Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught."  ~ Proberbs 3:25-26

* "The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe."  ~ Proverbs 29:25

* "For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who says to you, 'Fear not, I am the One who helps you."  ~ Isaiah 41:13

* "For God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and love and self-control."  ~ 2 Timothy 1:7

* "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world give do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."  ~ John 14:27

The reality of the pain and humiliation due to the loss of control of our body esp the mind gives me the greatest cause of my fear.  It happened to my husband.
Without my faith in God,  I will be consumed by my fear.  Thank you for these reminders...
